Friday, September 21st, 2007

John Juanda - Team FullTilt PokerAt the Pearl (6 max) Limit Omaha Hi/Lo table: John Juanda ($40,244), Gus Hansen ($7,233.50), David Benyamine ($35,827), Idontgiveashi ($78,323.50), DaFool ($78,870.50) were playing. I started watch the table late in the game so I didn’t see much action before the table broke up. There were a two hands between Gus Hansen and David Benyamine that were worth 10k+.

In the 20 hands that I watched DaFool won some big hands. Gus Hansen was pretty steady with around 5-8k. John Juanda was also pretty steady through out the hands with 35k-40k and David Benyamine was up a bit from when he started around 10k more.

Gus Hansen Plays 200/400 Pot Limit Omaha

Tuesday, September 18th, 2007

Gus Hansen Full Tilt Poker.net ProGus Hansen($13,197) was at a table against David Benyamine ($10,732), KaiBuxxe ($7,800), Ziigmund ($75,590) and iammagic ($9,592). They were playing $200/$400 Pot Limit Omaha Hi.

The first full hand I watch at the table turns out to be an all-in fest. With three players going all-in and another player calling it all. The players involved in the hand were: Gus Hansen, KaiBuxxe, Ziigmund and David Benyamine. Gus Hansen ended up winning the hand with three kings and took down the pot worth $44,926.

Gus Hansen with his newly acquired stack of $44k doesn’t sit around and watch. A couple hands later he plays in a hand worth $96,946! There were three players in the hand: Ziigmund, KaiBuxxe and of course Gus Hansen. Ziigmund won the side port worth $81k with three of a kind fives and KaiBuxxe won the main pot worth $15.8k with an ace high flush. Gus Hansen had a pair of aces, he then bought in with another 16k after losing the monster hand.

Gus Hansen then lost a hand worth around 8k. But then a couple hands later goes all-in with the 8k and doubles up back to his original 16k. Well it didn’t last long as Gus Hansen played in a hand against Ziigmund. The hand was worth $30,896 and Gus Hansen held two pair and lost against Ziigmund’s full house.

David Benyamine vs Brandon Adams

Tuesday, September 18th, 2007

The heads up poker game between David Benyamine and Brandon Adams was a battle of two full tilt poker pro’s. They were playing at a $200/$400 Pot Limit Omaha Hi Table.

The first hand I saw was David Benyamine and Brandon Adams going at it with an all-in by Brandon Adams after the turn. He went in with $16k against David Benyamine who was had a queen high straight. While Adams only had a pair of queens… David Benyamine then raked in a pot worth $32,393.50.

Not to be deterred Brandon Adams buys in for another 10k. After a couple hands he goes all-in again. This time David Benyamine gets another straight against Brandon Adams two pair.

Brandon Adams then buys in again for 10k! The very next hand he goes all-in with a pair of aces in his hand but he loses again…and you guessed it… to another Benyamine straight.

This did not stop Brandon Adams who bought in for a third time in about 10 hands. He bought in this time with 16k. He then fights back and gets up to $26k but soon loses a $19k pot against benyamine who has a full house while Adams had a straight. Then after a couple more hands David Benyamine wins the rest of the buy-in when he gets a king high straight against Adams pair of aces ($17.5k pot).

Brandon Adams then buys in again for 16k! The forth time I saw him buy-in and proceeds to lose it again when he loses with a pair of fives against David Benyamine’s pair of 8’s. This hand was worth $28k.

Well this wasn’t Brandon Adams day and he left the table after losing 68k in 34 hands!(He may have lost more as I came to the game after they had been playing for some time.)

David Signer vs Benyamine and Eli Elezra

Monday, September 17th, 2007

David Singer($25,017.50) played $1000/$2000 Limit Stud H/L against David Benyamine($46,551.50) and Eli Elezra($109,773.50). Though when I watched the game David Benyamine was sitting out and eventually left but I am guessing he was playing before I go to the table.

David Singer and Eli Elezra went heads up for the time I watched. While they were playing there was some big pots…Most of the pots were a couple thousands but there were also a handful of pots over $20k.

Eli Elezra went from 109k to 27k in the game, I wasn’t watching the whole time but it seems another player may have sat down at the table and won some money of Eli Elezra. (Took the money and ran) Although David Singer doubled up there is still $25k worth of Eli Elezra’s money that is unaccounted for. I closed the hand histories window before I could check how the money left the table, so I guess it will remain a mystery… But it definitely looks like Eli Elezra took a hit…

Daduv4, maerliu, SBrugby and TheSpeculator Play $200/$400

Saturday, September 15th, 2007

The Pot Limit Omaha Hi $200/$400 game was an active game on Full Tilt Poker.net. The chip counts were: maerliu ($12,994), TheSpeculator ($66,057), sbrugby ($40,000)
and Daduv4 ($57,990).

When I first started to observe the table TheSpeculator won a pot of $21,998 when he raised $27,400. There were two other players in the hand but they folded after already calling $5400 but with the huge raise by TheSpeculator, everyone folded.

Daduv4 won a large hand against maerliu with a two pair. maerliu had pocket kings and was raised all-in after the turn. maerliu called and the river was no help and lost the pot worth $26,158 to Daduv4. After losing this hand maerliu bought in for another 8k. Then went on to win 2 hands worth: $12,599 and $7,199…maerliu then took the money and ran leaving the table.

TheSpeculator continued his roll as he collected a monster pot of $51,199! Sbrugby re-raised TheSpeculator pre-flop for $4600. Then after the flop was [Qd 9d Ac] he bet another $8000 which the TheSpeculator called. They both checked the turn after an 6s was put on the board. The river card is a 6h and TheSpeculator raised $12,800 which Sbrugby called. TheSpeculator showed [2s 6c 3d Ad] for a full house, sixes full of aces while Sbrugby mucked his hand….Ouch

Qrippoli, Daduv4 and CryMeARiver8 High Stakes Action

Thursday, September 13th, 2007

The $1000/$2000 Limit Omaha H/L game was busy tonight with Qrippoli,($51,156) Daduv4 ($94,906.50) and CryMeARiver8 ($32,994.50) playing.

When I started watching CryMeARiver8 took a nose dive going from $33k down to $9k and then over 10 hands he built his stack back up to $20k. It didn’t last long though…The next hand he loses an $18k pot to Daduv4 who won with a 3 of a kind queens. Then the very next hand he loses a pot to Qrippoli this time it was a $20.5k pot, folding on the river with $8k already invested in the hand. CryMeARiver8 then left the game after suffering huge loses and with only $2k.

After CryMeARiver8 left the action slowed down a lot and in 15 hands only one hand was over $10k. It was a folding fest with one player raising and the other folding. I stopped watching at this point so something may have gone down but I wasn’t there to report on it.
