Benyamine Vs Genius28 NL Hold-em

Monday, October 29th, 2007

David Benyamine ($25,547.50) played against Genius28 ($57,248) in a $200/$400 NL Hold-em game. I was able to see 12 hands before the table ended when Benyamine left. The reason was because he was busted by Genius28 when his AJ lost to 10k. Genius28 went all-in after the flop holding a pair of 10’s and Benyamine called hoping that an AJ would come down in the turn or river. It didn’t happen and Genius28 raked in a pot worth $60,691.50.

John Juanda, Gus Hansen, David Benyamine and Niki Jedlicka Play Pot Limit

Saturday, October 27th, 2007

John Juanda - Team FullTilt PokerJohn Juanda ($10,000), Gus Hansen ($97,332), David Benyamine ($20,894), Niki Jedlicka ($46,023), pokerinvestcouk ($28,579) and FinddaGrind ($57,454) played $200/$400 Pot Limit Omaha Hi. It was the high stakes regulars all on one table. It was a great game with Gus Hansen winning some huge pots and David Benyamine sat out after losing a $48k hand to Gus Hansen (Flush against Two Pair). With all the high stakes players in the game it was rather slow. There were a lot of 2-3k hands and a couple low 7-9k hands but rarely anything above that.

Gus Hansen Full Tilt Poker.net ProAfter sitting out for about 20 hands David Benyamine decided to sit back in. Well it turned out to be a bad move as he lost a $37k hand when his jacks lost to Gus Hansen’s queens. David Benyamine once again sat out after losing the hand. He sat out one more hand and then eventually left the table. Gus Hansen continued his aggressive play when he beat Aeron73 for a pot worth $14,441 when his pair of aces beat Kings.

When I started watching John Juanda had $10k and when I left he built his stack up to $17,790. He didn’t play in many hands but when he did had a great win percentage.

Chris Ferguson Plays Limit Razz

Saturday, October 27th, 2007

Chris Ferguson - Team Full Tilt PokerChris Ferguson ($1,611) was playing heads up $50/$100 Limit Razz against fgt4w ($1,434). This is the first time I have seen Chris Ferguson playing at a poker table on Full Tilt Poker. I don’t know if he has been playing poker lately but it definitely hasn’t been online poker. This wasn’t very high stakes compared to other pro’s but was still interesting to watch.

Friday, October 26th, 2007

FinddaGrind ($41,799.50) and Genius28 ($42,798.50) played $200/$400 No Limit Hold-em. Genius28 won a couple large hands including a $83,973.50 pot when his straight beat FinddaGrind’s Ace high?!? He must have thought Genius was bluffing when he went all-in because FinddaGrind called with only ace high and a board showing [3c Tc Js Ks 2h]. FinddaGrinda wasn’t done yet when he bought in for another $40k.

It wasn’t FinddaGrinda’s day because he lost another huge hand when he was chasing a flush with [2s 3s] against Genius28’s [6h 6c] flopped 3 of a kind 6’s, the board showed [Qd 4s 6s Kc] [9h]. The pot was worth $91,596.50! When I left the game Genius28 had $145k and FinddaGrinda bought in for another $40k.

Robert Mizrachi ($26,997) played against Idontgiveashi ($24,304.50) in a $200/$400 Pot Limit Omaha Hi game.  The game didn’t last long as Robert Mizrachi went on a streak winning two $20k hands. He then sat out and Idontgiveashi left the table after a couple minutes of waiting to play.  I guess Robert Mizrachi was happy with what he had won and decided not to gamble with his winnings.
