Full Tilt Poker Matrix Tournaments
There are many poker websites that offer players with the opportunity to participate in poker tournaments, but none are quite the same as the Full Tilt Poker Matrix Tournaments. This is because the Full Tilt Poker Matrix Tournament allows you to play the same eight people on four different tables all at the same time. In addition, you can win a Sit & Go prize at each of the tables and then your prize is paid out from the prize pool based on your overall performance.
And Then There Was One
In order to win prizes in the Full Tilt Poker Matrix Tournament, you face the same eight opponents until only one player is left standing. In addition, every player participates on four different tables, which means each table has to be whittled down to just one player at the same time. The final three places at each of the tables are played like a Sit & Go game and there is a prize pool for each table.
Determining Your Matrix Full Tilt Prizes
Of course, when it comes to playing a game of poker, you want to know how the prizes are going to be determined. When playing a nine-person, $10 + $1 tournament, you will have a total prize pool of $90 to draw from. The prize money pool is then divided evenly for each of the tables, with first place getting $9, second place receiving $5.40 and third place receiving $3.60.
In order to win these prizes, however, you have to earn points. The points are earned by outlasting your opponents as well as by knocking opponents out of the game. For each player you outlast, you are awarded one Survival Point. You also earn two Knockout Points for every player you knockout from the tables. The points you have earned at each table are listed by match in the Tournament Lobby under the “Score By Match” heading. Your total points for the tournament, on the other hand, are located under the “Matrix Score” heading.
Checking Out Your Standing
In addition to checking out your points status in the Tournament Lobby, your Matrix score is also listed in the tournament lobby within three different categories. The first is the “Earned” category, which shows your total Survival Points and Knockout Points earned from all of the four tables. The “Max” category displays the maximum number of points that each player can earn if he or she earns every Survival Point and Knockout Point remaining at the four tables. The “Projected” category shows an estimated Matrix score for the player and is the best category to check out if you want to see where your points stand at any given time.
It is also possible to win the entire Matrix prize pool. In order to do this, you have to win at all four tables. If you manage to do this, you won’t receive just the first place prize for each table - you will receive the entire pool and be labeled as the “Dominatrix.”
