Gus Hansen and maerliu were playing $200/$400 Pot Limit Omaha Hi. I was watching for about 20 hands. When I first started watching the table, maerliu had $5.3k and Hansen had $19.5. This quickily changed as the next hand maerliu won an all-in hand with a queen high straight. They then played about 18 more hands until finally Gus Hansen won a 19k pot with two pair and maerliu went all-in and lost and decided not to rebuy.
Gus Hansen was playing at 3 tables on full tilt poker this afternoon. He was playing $200/$400 Limit Omaha Hi. There were two tables that had big names…one of the tables called Eginton had: Gus Hansen ($25,791.50), Benyamine ($27,196) and maerliu($8,000). The other table Pantheon had Hansen, DaFool($15,600), jonnymagic ($7,110), Da Munsta ($33,448) and My GRocks ($49,387).
Gus Hansen won a large hand against DaFool after he beat DaFool’s two pair with a Queen High Flush. The hand was worth $31,197 growing Gus Hansen’s stack to over $60k. At the table Eginton Gus Hansen won against maerliu, he won on an all-in with pocket q’s against maerliu’s ace-king.
Gus Hansen lost a large hand against Da Munsta when Da Munsta flopped a three of a kind fives. Gus Hansen had pocket aces and bet hard the entire time but Da Munsta with the three of a kind bet back and ended up going all-in. Da Munsta won the hand and raked in a pot worth $88,310
David Benyamine ($52,377) was playing 3 handed Pot Limit Omaha Hi. He was playing against: My G Rocks ($61,228.50) and maerliu ($7,897). Lately when I have been watching David Benyamine he has been very successful while playing Omaha. Well…today was looking like it may not be Benyamine’s day. I saw him lose some huge hands including an 85k hand against My G Rocks. My G Rocks held a straight while Benyamine had a pair of aces in one of the biggest hands reported on full tilt planet.
Benyamine fought his way back from 10k (the lowest point after losing the 85k hand)…When I stopped watching he had built back up to 60k! He was playing heads up against My G Rocks because maerliu left when Benyamine had about 15k. He was playing great and winning the larger hands and made a huge comeback.
The Pot Limit Omaha Hi $200/$400 game was an active game on Full Tilt Poker.net. The chip counts were: maerliu ($12,994), TheSpeculator ($66,057), sbrugby ($40,000)
and Daduv4 ($57,990).
When I first started to observe the table TheSpeculator won a pot of $21,998 when he raised $27,400. There were two other players in the hand but they folded after already calling $5400 but with the huge raise by TheSpeculator, everyone folded.
Daduv4 won a large hand against maerliu with a two pair. maerliu had pocket kings and was raised all-in after the turn. maerliu called and the river was no help and lost the pot worth $26,158 to Daduv4. After losing this hand maerliu bought in for another 8k. Then went on to win 2 hands worth: $12,599 and $7,199…maerliu then took the money and ran leaving the table.
TheSpeculator continued his roll as he collected a monster pot of $51,199! Sbrugby re-raised TheSpeculator pre-flop for $4600. Then after the flop was [Qd 9d Ac] he bet another $8000 which the TheSpeculator called. They both checked the turn after an 6s was put on the board. The river card is a 6h and TheSpeculator raised $12,800 which Sbrugby called. TheSpeculator showed [2s 6c 3d Ad] for a full house, sixes full of aces while Sbrugby mucked his hand….Ouch
